Synopsis

As being a piece of fiction, the French-Tunisian director’s movie could have pictured a heterosexual love. The birth of love, the peaks of a relationship and the painful lack of it are showed in a so natural way that the writer of this synopsis cannot help but say: it is unthinkable to have a more perfect movie made of the topic. Without any doubts, this film was the rightful winner of the Cannes Golden Palm. Because of the significance of this film a retrospective selection of films by Abdellatif Kechiche will also be screened during the festival.
