The ruins of the Pauline Monastery

The ruins of the Pauline monastery in Szentlélek are located 710 m high in the Bükk Mountains. The monastery was built in the 13th century for Pauline monks in honor of the Holy Spirit.
The complex consists of the remains of a monastery and a convent. It was built in gothic style. It can be observed that the church has a single nave structure and its sanctuary is polygonal.
The building is open to the public. It can be reached on foot by a pleasant walk from Ómassa or by car from the highway leading to Bánkút.
