Erzsébet Square

Erszebet Square is one of the most beautiful squares of Miskolc, which located south from the Street Szechenyi at the foot of the Hill Avas. There can be found the first public Kossuth Statue of Hungary, designed by Joseph Rona.

Along the sqare running an ornamental pool with fountains which sourrounded by pretty and colorful flower beds. The view of the Avasi Református Church  with it’s bright green surrounding give a magical atmosphere for the place.
 

At the square is located the Erszebet Bath which was reconstructed a few years ago.

At the square also can be seen the eclectic stlype building of the Miskolc Academic Committee Headquarters.
