Statue of Ottó Herman

The Statue of Otto Herman is situated in front of the exhibition hall of Herman Otto Museum at the Street Papszer.  The museum got the name Herman Otto in 1953, and in his honour made a statue which is located right in front of the building.

The statue was designed by Ferenc Medgyessy in 1957. The artist was one of the most known and greatest sculptor of Hungary and the Statue of Otto Herman was presumably the last creation of his life.

Otto Herman was a scientist, ethnographer, archeologist and politician in one person.
